|Rescue Me ID: 18-04-20-00122Daisy (female)|
Daisy is a Red Australian Cattle Dog also known as a Red Heeler. She is a very healthy 6 year old who is excellent off leash, good recall, and very loving. Daisy's previous owner felt it was time for her to retire from working cows and be just a companion dog. This she does very well and does not miss the cow part of her live. She is excellent for hikes and camping and most outdoor activity. She travels well in a car. She loves to be by your side and does fine when left alone. She is excellent inside and will use a dog door. She is great around livestock, her foster mom has pet pigs and goats and she has no issues. if you are looking for a best buddy, please come and meet Daisy. She would be great for a single, family, and or Senior person. Contact Lorice at 510-366-0588 or firstname.lastname@example.org We offer a two week sleepover to allow you time to make sure Daisy is the right fit before committing to her adoption. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 18-04-04-00145Chevy (male)|
Chevy is in need of some training, some special attention and lots of tlc. He has been passed around from home to home and never the kind of home he needed. He has spent too much time alone. Too much time on a chain and not enough interaction. This little man is a work in progress. He is coming along very well. We are hoping to change his life forever. He loves his yard and his toys, especially balls. Food is a super important thing in his life. He comes running when he's called in for dinner. He is better with women. Takes him awhile to warm up to men but if you have a snack, especially jerky he will be your best friend. He is a bit rambunctious so would not be a good fit for small children. Chevy is so happy when he's out playing in the yard with one of his favorite people. He has a big ole smile and a fun little personality. He would do best as an only dog and definitely no kitties. He would love to go hiking and camping and have lots of room to play. He needs an inside home and a fenced yard. Chevy is an 18 month old Healer Pit bull mix. He is neutered, up on all his vaccinations and micro chipped. Please call Lorrie if you can take just a little extra time to give him a chance 208 339 0130 or email email@example.com (Less)

Cisco is a 2 year old pit bull mix, and is very loving once he gets to know you. He is great but very protective over babies and infants. He is aggressive to dogs he doesn't know, but we believe this aggression is fear-based. He also needs leash trained. He is potty trained and crate trained. He does very well in an apartment, but takes awhile to warm up to people. We can supply his favorite toys, crate if needed, and some other supplies.

'Air' Bud Current Occupation: 3 year old Member of LeashedIn Ideal Career: Ranch Hand. Check out how great I am around farm animals in this movie: https://youtu.be/_4VH3AiIYlE Why? My PR team tells me that my relatives were cattle dogs. My first experience with cattle and horses and even a miniature donkey was fun and had lots of good smells; I think that I'd like to work around them. My team has tested my endurance on long hikes, and knows that I have the moves like those agility course dogs. I already play a mean game of ball/toy fetch and Frisbee. My team tells me that I'm smart and treat-motivated so I can be taught almost anything. I also know that you need to be 16 years old to work, so my ultimate job environment will not have any little kids who might want to share my ball or toy. Other young, physically fit, and equally rambunctious canine work mates are fine if we meet slowly and you give them a probation period. Where you can find me: If you think that you can help me, call 208-794-0944. It's the rescue office at Meridian Canine Rescue, but they agreed to help me as I chase my dreams! https://meridianrescue.org/projects/bud/ (Less)
