Rescue Me ID: 16-08-01-00360Gemini (female)

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Gemi is a high energy dog that would benefit from a high energy lifestyle. She is very sweet when she is calm and feels safe. She is not great at meeting new people and gets defensive. She would make a great working dog on a farm. She is incredibly smart, well trained and can easily learn a new job. I love her very much but it's becoming more difficult to provide a good life for her. I am only willing to re-home her if it will improve her quality of life. Ideally I would like to find a farm for her where she can run and have a job.

Kulley is super energetic. He loves walks and gets so excited when he sees people. He is not good with smaller dogs. If you love being outdoors this boy is the one for you. He isn't much for walking but if you run you will surely make a prefect owner for him.

She isn't over energized and seems to be trained pretty well. If you are looking for a buddy to go hiking with she is perfect for you.

Australian Cattle Dogs were bred by 19th century Australian pioneers to herd cattle on large ranches. Most Australian Cattle Dogs have a star-shaped marking on their foreheads called the Bentley Mark, after dog owner Thomas Bentley, whose purebred dog supposedly passed this mark on to all genuine Australian Cattle Dogs.
