Rescue Me ID: 15-06-26-00605Zeus (male)

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Zeus is a wonderful 14 month old Australian Shepherd Queensland Heeler mix boy that was rescued locally when his owner could no longer care for him. Zeus is great with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. He would probably do really well with children though he hasn't interacted with any young ones while here at the shelter. Zeus knows some commands, such as sit and walks well on a leash. He can be a little nervous at first but warms up very quickly and wants to play and get petted. Zeus is neutered, up to date on shots, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application at www.pet-tracs.com located in the ... (Read More)adoption center menu under forms. You can also call 827-8722 or email shelter@pet-tracs.com for more information. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-29-00424Maddie (female)

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

We love puppies, and Miss Maddie is too cute for words! Maddie was found as a stray cruising the local Shopko parking lot. We were sure someone would be looking for this gal, but here we are...her holding period is up, and she's officially available for adoption. Maddie is sweet and spunky and loves to be with people. She's quiet when we arrive to visit with her, but when we leave, she makes sure to let us know she doesn't want us to go! She plays appropriately with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the kitties at all. Maddie's little freckles make us think there might be some cattle dog in that mix, maybe some terrier, maybe ...
