Scarlet is around 12 weeks of age and 20 pounds. She is a very happy and active gal. She loves to play and be around people and other dogs. She is great with kids and does well in a crate. We do feel she would do best in a home without cats. She is very smart and sat for treats at the adoption event yesterday. |Rescue Me ID: 18-05-13-00323Cash (male)|
Cash is a 3yr old male Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler. He is a very loving dog. He roams the house and the yard. He's a good protector. He loves to play fetch, do some tricks, play in the water and be loved on. He also loves herding our kids, which has become an issue. I understand that is their job and they are bred for herding which is great, just not for my younger kids. We have tried to stop his behavior but haven't had any success. He is very strong willed and will mainly listen to my husband. He has gotten to the point where if my kids are playing he runs up and nips at them which has turned into something between a nip and a bite now. He is a wonderful dog but I am not willing to keep him and have my kids continue to get hurt from the dog doing what he does naturally. It's not fair for the kids or for him getting in trouble all the time. He is up to date on shots and has flea/tick prevention, he has not been neutered. He was heart worm tested last year and kept on prevention until winter. He has not started back on it yet. He was good with our cat before it died, but chases the neighbors cats if they come in our yard. He gets along with our old chihuahua and doesn't bother the neighboring dogs, even when they get out. Abbie -2 yr old Min Pin and Cattle dog mix. Crate trained mostly potty trained. She loves to run and play, but loves to just cuddle up with her people too. She takes a little while to warm up, but when she blossoms she is the best dog. Abby is not a fan of little dogs.

|Rescue Me ID: 18-05-06-00130Max (male)|
Max was a stray that showed up at our door just before Christmas. We took him in hoping to find his owner. He has had his vaccinations and has been neutered. He is not aggressive with the immediate family and our close friends but will bite strangers. He knows basic commands and plays with a ball. He nips at our little cocker spaniel and chases our cats. He needs a farm and a job.

|Rescue Me ID: 18-04-25-00356Cookie (female)|
we have a almost 3 year old blue healer. she is very high energy, gets along with a pitt mix about the same age. she ahs had rabies shot and parvo shot. she loves kids but with ehr energy knocks over smaller children, however she does like to play with the neighbors kids. she jumps our 4 foot fence, and does not get along with our 13 yr old doberman so we have to let dogs out in shifts. she would do well with younger people ( we are in our 50's) she was found at 36th and penn in okc, and after a relative looked for the owner she was given to us because we lived on 5 acres. this dog loves to run and requires more attention then we can give her. she is an awesome mouser. not sure how she would do with farm animals, we do not ahve kids so she is stuck in a crate for most of the day, becasue she does not get along with the doberman and with the pitt mix we have and energy level we allow each dog out alone, with supervision. she is house trained, comes with crate and food bowl, and can give you a collar. she walks well on a leash and i can even hold her with my weak arm ( had shoulder surgery 8 months ago) We do not want her to go to the pound and would like to keep in contact ( by email or text) with the new owner. We would keep her if she was the only dog however with 2 others are not able to keep her. We have had her for almost a year hoping she would settle down, but that has not happened and i believe the time she has to spend in the crate is the issue. she has not been around cats, or farm animals. she is smart but takes a few to get her to calm down to hear the commands. she is about 40 pounds, so not too big, she is looking for someone to play with (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 18-04-07-00007Crash (female)|
CRASH - M, Australian Shepherd Mix, approximately 1 1/2 years old. This guy is very sweet and has lots of energy; to the point that he is very hyper. He will need a family that has older children and that is very active. Knowledge about the breed would also be beneficial. He loves being outside - so someone who has a 6 foot privacy fence would be ideal. He is neutered, kennel trained, up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this active fellow, please contact Loretta at 580-695-4296.

The Australian Cattle Dog is one of the most intelligent dog breeds, needing a lot of attention to stave off boredom. A neglected Australian Cattle Dog can become destructive. Australian Cattle Dogs have strong herding instincts and behave best when they have plenty of space and a job to do.
