I am active love the water, car rides, stay close to my people. My family joined the military and i couldnt go. My grandma has tried to keep me I do not get along with my sister. But i love to play with the other dogs though. I am great on leash or off. Would love to have my own person again. I am a active girl and would enjoy going out and doing things 4H, obstacle course, beach ect. I am not lazy around the house. I do like to hog the bed at night though. And have ...     Striking dog! This one is high energy. She is fantastic with other dogs and should have another dog in the house to play with as she did not do well in her previous home by herself. She needs a companion. She is really good about being in her crate. She is a little darty on the leash so we are working on loose lead walking and come. She is also still learning basics. She is not very food motivated and easily distracted by outside noises and such. So she will need someone patient. She also needs to exercise prior to training session so she can focus better.     Very sad situation, Molly is my mom's dog. My mother and I live 400 miles apart. This past Friday she had to have emergency surgery and will be needing to go to a nursing home for 2 months. My mother has no one here to take care of Molly so I need to find a loving home for her. It would be wonderful if she had room to run as she is a cattle dog with lots of energy. However she spends her nights snuggled up on her doggie bed in Mom's company in the house. She's well behaved, potty trained, with lots of energy and lots of love. Please help me find a home for my mom's Molly.

Rescue Me ID: 17-12-19-00133Ruby (female)

Australian Cattle Dog    Age: Puppy

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

PLEASE PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER WITH YOUR INQUIRY. Note: preference will be given to working/herding situations, ranches, farms, large acreages, horseback homes, and agility/trial homes. Experience with heelers or handling under guidance of a close mentor is preferred. UPDATE 12/4/17 Ruby is making real progress in the car-sickness area. Only one 'urp' in seven or eight 16 mile or better round trips inside the pickup. And she jumps right in the cab of my pickup, excited to be goin' somewhere. But she's still not so great in the housebroke department. Bein' raised outdoors, she simply does not know how to ask to go outside to do her business. ... (Read More)So her potty schedule needs to be closely monitored. And the cat hardly registers with her any more so that's a real plus. She did very good when we had some 30 or so folks to the place fer a HUNAH Christmas party recently. She barked to be sure, an' even growled a few times at new arrivals outside but that is what most heelers do with strangers. Otherwise she is mostly OK with company after a few minutes of gettin' used to the new person. She asks fer pets even! She still completely ignores our horses an' has absolutely no interest in chasin' 'em like our other brats do. So an active horseback home on acreage would be the ideal home fer Ruby. An additional doggy playmate to help her burn off energy would be a real plus! UPDATE 11/18/17 Ruby, the gorgeous 10-month old red heeler rescue puppy, has been with us a week now. We took her for a 5 mile trail ride out in the Badlands today and she did GREAT! She basically ignored the horses from the get-go. No snappin', no barkin' no heelin', no whinin', no problems at all! How refreshin' fer a cattle dog rescue! Her only 'issue' was gettin' her hackles up when she met a large group of adults an' kids. But she did not confront them-it jes' made her nervous. So we expect that Ruby will make an exceptional trail buddy. Ruby has taken a few pickup truck rides with me now. She was not a happy camper in my jump seat as she became nauseous an' even urped one time. However, we crated her in the bed of the pick-em up on the way to the Badlands (about 17 miles round trip) an' she was fine. Not even wet in the mouth. So, I think with proper conditioning she kin get over her car sickness OK. She is still very interested in our cats but the intensity has now dropped way off. Not once has she shown any aggression towards the kitties-only a supercharged fascination. Any more, she makes it clear that she'd like to interact with the cat but breaks off with a simple 'NO!' Her capacity to learn is certainly strong. She was simply terrified of our wooden staircase but after only a few times up and down guided by a leash she is tearin' up an' down them with ease. She is now crate-trained an' it's where she sleeps every night. She is also spayed, chipped an' up to date on her vaccines, includin' rabies. If you've been lookin' fer an atypical heeler trail buddy-one that does NOT harrass horses, then Ruby jes' may be yer girl. With a jes' a bit more work she's gonna be a really nice dog! Ruby is available through Herd U Needed A Home Rescue http://www.herduneededahome.com and currently lives near Bend, OR. Her adoption fee is $300. Please call 541-508-8271 or e-mail hunahapps@gmail.com for more information. PLEASE PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER AND E-MAIL SO THAT WE MAY REACH YOU.     Chewy was with a female and that owner didn't want him. So we took him in for our hound to have a buddy. Sadly our hound will be put down soon. With our new living conditions we wont be able to keep him. He has been a indoor and out door dog, he has tons of energy and love to play by him self or with us. He is fine around our cats which live outside. He can get defensive around other dogs when hes with us, if he goes to a dog camp he is fine. He will sleep under your feet and follow you everywhere. He knows the basics and some other commands. We dont want him to go to a shelter, yet this is our last shot to find his new family!

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Opal is a 9 month old female heeler/aussie shepard. She was adopted at 8 wks by our family, consisting of 1 older female dog, a 2 year old male dog, young male cat and two teenagers. She knows basic commands and does well on a leash. She's extremely intelligent and can differentiate between her toys and knows most by name (i.e. Ball, rope, baby...). She will 'sit' and 'wait' before eating until she's been told 'ok'. She loves to hike and is a great camping dog. Her issue seems to be young children and men she does not know. She no longer nips at heels but can be unpredictable with other dogs and younger children. She needs a loving home ... (Read More)where she can work and be the center of attention. It is not recommended she live in a home with young children or a lot of chaos. She is the sweetest baby but I can not keep her due to her behavior around young children. She would be a great dog for a farm or someone who can dedicate time to her needs. She comes with her leash, collar and tactical vest. This is very hard for our family to do because we love her so much! (Less)

Koda is mystery pup, but an adorable one! She was found in a box abandoned at a store when she was only a week old. We estimate she was born around June 1.
