He rolled over in his kennel as soon as he saw us to offer his belly! He was NOT so sure about the leash, he has obviously never been on one. He tried to pull back a lot, but we were able to 'convince' him to come out with us. He got better and better as we went along! He stopped at almost every kennel on the way ... Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I'm JONCIE an adorable 6-month-old, pointer/hound mix puppy ready to melt your heart with my happy, friendly and sometimes shy personality and my gorgeous baby blue eyes. I love all humans, big and little, and love to romp and play with other dogs. I am a super friendly girl who can be shy when we first meet. After a few moments we will click, and you will see what a loving, affectionate, fun and fantastic family dog I truly am. I prefer a home with an active family, a big yard and a friendly resident dog. Like all pups, I am energetic, but I have an off switch. I love to cuddle and have you pet me so if you are sitting on the floor, ... (Read More)be warned--I might transform into a lap dog. I'm housebroken, crate and leash trained and I have great house manners. I am as smart as I am pretty and learning basic commands like sit, stay, wait, shake and more. I'm young so I'll be needing more basic training. (I really like treats, so that helps me learn fast!) I weigh about 30 lbs now and don't know how big I'll grow to be but my mom is about 50 lbs. If you're looking for a lovable and super friendly pup with beautiful blue eyes (and I know you are), you better Jump for my Love and put your name in soon. I won't be here much longer! I'm JONCIE!! This pup is too young to be spayed/neutered so a $200 refundable spay/neuter is required at time of adoption. The $200 will be refunded with proof of spay/neuter. All are heartworm negative and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I'm SHERYL, a happy, healthy, friendly 3.5 year old, 55LB heeler / pittie mix who is looking for a loving, forever home. My family left me at an overcrowded kill shelter in the south when they lost their home and could not care for me any longer. Shelter volunteers fell in love with me and made sure I got out of there quick. They shared the following about me: 'She is a sweet, mellow girl. She appeared to do great with the other dogs. She was okay with the cat as well. She just kind of sniffed the cat, and then went on her way. She did great on the leash.' I just went into a temporary foster home this weekend and I love it!!! My foster ... (Read More)mom says '.... she is great in the crate and is the easiest dog I've ever encountered. She doesn't whine, goes with the flow no matter what. She happily met my dog Teddy through the gate, tail wagging. She's very snuggly, one of the sweetest dogs I've met.' I need a foster home where I can stay while Lulu's finds my forever family. If you or someone you know is looking for an awesome and sweet dog to be your forever friend, don't look any further. Come get me soon, I'm SHERYL. SHERYL is spayed, heart worm negative and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee is $400. Please note that training is highly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Max was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky, where he was found as a stray. Max had some anxiety issues when he first came to us, but after working with a behavioral specialist, he has improved tremendously. Max is good with most kids, just not small toddlers. This is not an aggression thing, it is more because of his breed and he will jump up when provoked by playing. Max has been good around one dog so far, around others he seems to want to challenge them. He is fully potty trained, and microchipped. Max loves attention, and belly rubs. After play time, he will love to lay on your lap and cuddle. Max is ready for his forever home. ... (Read More)Please call for more information! (Less)
