Meet this cutie pie, ticked up pup, who unfortunately suffered a gunshot wound to the head in her previous life, and sadly lost one of her eyes. Cella is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler mix who weighs 28 pounds. and is roaring and ready to romp right into her forever home! She thinks she should be a lap dog and likes to stand on you and lick your face, in echange for snuggles and ... (Read More)pets. Cella is a firecracker fur friend who likes to be the girl boss on campus and wrestles with her foster fur siblings. She would be best suited to an all adult home with a playful dog her size or larger. Cella does ok with cats but wants to play with them more than they seem to want to play with her. She is doing excellents on her crate and leash training and her house training will follow suit as soon as she is settled in with you and your family. If this sweet one-eyed gal is calling your name to come pick her up, then please, apply to adopt her today! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-01-00154Sophia (female)

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

SOPHIA is a beautiful 4 year old female Blue Heeler mix. Her foster says that Sophia is a very silly girl that loves to run and play. She also loves hugs and loves children. There are children aged 8 and above at her foster home. She is up to date on all vaccinations, HW negative, microchipped and spayed. Sophia weighs 53 pounds. She was an owner surrender in Trenton, TN. Sophia is energetic and needs someone who will exercise her daily. She needs to be able to run and play. She is strong and can pull when on a leash but this should improve with training. Sophia is a little overbearing when around smaller dogs so, if she was to have a ... (Read More)canine sibling, they would need to be strong and playful and closer in size to Sophia. Sophia is great with older kids but she may unintentionally knock over a toddler when playing. She is not house trained but will crate when told to do so. Sophia is extremely intelligent and learns fast. She just needs someone willing to put some training time in with her. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Sophia if it means she will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)3 non-profit rescue to cover part of the cost of her veterinary care she has received. (Less)
