Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Introducing Gracey, the puppy her foster mom describes as 'A GENIUS!' This sweet little energetic 10 week old girl was abandoned on the steps of a church, but when she came to us we knew she was destined for great things. Gracey is super-smart and has already learned several commands. We think she would be an excellent prospect for a dog sport such as agility or rally. She is good with people of all ages and other dogs. She does think it's grand fun to chase the kitty, however. She even goes potty outside, on and off leash with no accidents in the crate or house. Gracey sleeps all night in her crate. She loves to play, tug and ball and is ... (Read More)very food motivated also. We think Gracey will be a medium size adult dog with lots of energy. Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Adult Women Only
Personality: High Energy
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

This red heeler, cattle dog breed (I think) belongs to my son who is not able to care for him. He needs a good home with lots of room to run free. We have to keep him chained due to lease laws in Wilson County (Lebanon, TN). I have been around Rusty since he was six weeks old but due to my responsibilities I haven't been able to give him the love and attention he so deserves. It grieves me that he doesn't get enough human interaction. He is very smart.

lnteresting Australian Cattle Dog Trivia Low-Cost Tennessee Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Cattle Dogs were bred by 19th century Australian pioneers to herd cattle on large ranches. The Australian Cattle Dog nips at a cow's heels to keep it in line with the herd, and may apply this technique to its humans from time to time as well. Australian Cattle Dogs are descended from several different breeds, including Dalmatians and Smithfield Collies, which are now thought to be extinct.
