Australian Cattle Dog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Reggie is a great dog and is very smart and energetic. He lives on a farm with chickens, donkeys, and sheep but hasn't been fully trained to be a working dog. He has the intelligence and temperament to be an excellent working dog, but we don't have the time to devote to him that he needs. He has a sister Polly that he would love to stay with if you have room for two dogs. He has always been an outside dog.

Rescue Me ID: 17-11-18-00068Maximus (male)

Australian Cattle Dog    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered

Max is a loyal protective dog. He has fear aggression issues that have calmed down somewhat since I have had him. He came to my house because he was showing 'Knipper' qualities for his breed and young children were around. Also, he lived in the country of NH and was not socialized. He grew-up with three other dogs but as he got older, showed his dominance with two smaller dogs, The Lab and Max would have major tussles for 'Top Dog', hence he came to me. My home became divided between Max and two retrievers. Max is smart and learns quickly, housebroken and crate trained. Needs a home with adults or a job herding cattle or beefalo. Once you ... Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Gunner has protective instincts of the heeler breed. He is obedience trained and also was trained to shed hunt for antlers and loves it. He is housebroken and crate trained. He is good on leash. He loves his balls and toys. He is good with other dogs. Because of his protective nature we do not recommend him to a family with young children. If he goes to a family they need to all be involved in his care.
