Australian Cattle Dog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered

Hi I am Harley! As you can see I am obviously very handsome. I have loads of energy and I am super smart with some very special needs. Despite the fact that I really do love my humans, I don't like my personal space intruded on. I have a fear of sudden movements and changes around me, whether around my body area or within my home. So, for example I get very reactive when visitors come knocking at my door. Yes, I know this is quite a challenging weakness but if you have the patience to guide me, positively, so that my fearful reaction is minimized, then I will do my best to trust that I and you, my pack, are safe and I don't need to get ... (Read More)so overwhelmed. I want to please and I know I have so much to offer and in my excitement to show you how awesome I really am, I seem to be 'my way or the highway' kinda guy Listen, I am very intelligent and I like to play games where I can think and problem solve. None of this just run and retrieve the ball kinda stuff for me, no sirree! That's for the other dogs, not that I am high and mighty, but I know what I like. The other pups want to just have fun and be silly, which is great but you gotta move on from that into more advanced play some times, right? I am wiser and more interested in playing smarter games! Oh but I do so enjoy being outside with the other dogs and I am always friendly with them as I run alongside them in the other runs and watch them get all silly like puppies and I wait patiently for my human to come back to me so we can engage in more advanced mind stimulating games ;) We are looking for a very specific quieter home, where my family will continue to guide me on how to respond to activity around my personal space which includes my home and myself. Due to my special needs I am asking that my new family be adults only please. To meet me in person if you want to be my forever family then please email me at rescuegroup@lchs.ca Love Harley (Less)
